Rebranding FAQ

APA + GPMI = PayrollOrg

On 2 May 2023, the American Payroll Association (APA) and the Global Payroll Management Institute (GPMI) united under one name: PayrollOrg.

This change reflects the organization we had already become. For decades, the American Payroll Association’s education, certifications, and publications have been relied on not only in the United States, but around the world. As our international audience continued to grow, we launched the Global Payroll Management Institute to better support multinational organizations and payroll professionals outside the Unites States, representing over 117 countries.

If you're looking for a fun and engaging way to celebrate our rebrand, look no further than PAYO, the newest song from Pegine.

Uniting APA and GPMI as PayrollOrg aligns our name with our reach. It clarifies our identity, strengthens our global presence, and positions us to serve payroll professionals everywhere under one unified brand.
